UK Road Trips

Why

Experience the beauty of the Chilterns or the Cotswolds, with quieter roads and country lanes. With stunning views riding in quintessential villages, and stopping off at lovely cafes and English pubs. Staying in lovely farmhouses with lovely accommodation and great traditional food. Many of the roads and in particular the short yet steep climbs, would have been ridden over the years by Professional cyclists racing in The Tour of Britain.

When

Ideally Spring to Autumn, so March-September. However you will know that the British weather can be somewhat unpredictable sometimes.

Where

The Chilterns runs from market towns like Henley-on-Thames, to villages like Turville, Frieth & Fingest along the Hambleden valley. Criss crossing the ridgeway and Vineyards along the way.
