Pyrenees

Pyrenees

Why

Great roads that seem quieter than the Alps, varying terrain with stunning views and epic climbing and descending. Many iconic climbs as ridden in La Vuelta Espanya and The Tour De France.

When

Ideally April-September. However it is possible in March and October, but at the higher elevation mountain passes snow is always likely. Even on a lovely summer’s day it is possible to get caught out high up on a mountain descent.

Where

This is where you have an advantage to cycle both in Spain and France during the same ride.

Staying in a beautiful old Chateaux close to many mountain climbs, and around 25-30km from the Spanish border.

The Chateaux is perched on a mountainside, with stunning views overlooking the beautiful Pyrenees. On its own parcel of land and swimming pool it sleeps up to 14.
