TDF Haute Savoie in the Alps.

TDF Haute Savoie in the Alps.

Why

Great roads that seem quieter than some of the mainstream Alps, varying terrain with stunning views and epic climbing and descending. Many iconic climbs as ridden in The Tour De France.

When

Ideally April-September. However it is possible in March and October, but at the higher elevation mountain passes snow is always likely. Even on a lovely summer’s day it is possible to get caught out high up on a mountain descent.

Where

This is where you have an advantage to cycle both quieter Cols in France, plus many of the classic cols such as Alpe d’huez, or Col de la colombiere to name a few during the same ride.

Staying in a beautiful modern Chalet close to many mountain climbs, and around 25-30km downhill to Lake Geneva.

The Chalet is perched on a quiet roadside, with stunning views overlooking beautiful pastures  It sleeps up to 14, and can be offered catered or self catering. Relax in the sauna or hot tub after a long day in the saddle.
